One of the most beautiful areas in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado - wide open valleys and surrounded by snowy white peaks, Crested Butte
is not to be missed.
In the summer, Crested Butte is known as the Wildflower capital of Colorado and Mountain Bike Mecca.
In the winter we are known for our miles of cross country ski trails, wide open, uncrowded beginner slopes and of course our extreme skiing.
Once a mining town, now primarily a recreation town - skiing, mountain biking, fishing,
kayaking, rafting, hunting, hiking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, climbing....
Crested Butte not only has limitless recreational opportunities, but it also boasts some of the
best restaurants and coffee in the state.
